THE TALLMADGE DINING ROOM.

This oak-panelled room with its solid, old world furnishings and high eighteenth century windows is named in honor of Frederick Samuel Tallmadge, whose bequest allowed the Sons of the Revolution to acquire Fraunces Tavern in 1904, saving it from demolition.
